What to Expect At Your First Appointment
When you come in for your first appointment you will be greeted by our friendly front staff. We do our best to keep our wait times down so you won’t have to wait long before our hearing instrument specialist comes to take you in for your appointment.
1.
We begin the appointment by talking about your goals and expectations. We will also go over what brought you in today and what you are having trouble hearing.
2.
After our conversation then we will look inside your ears with an otoscope to make sure there is no wax build-up. Once we’ve ensured your ears are clean then we begin the hearing test.
3.
After your hearing test we will explain the different types of hearing aids, what your options are, and what you want to hear.
4.
We will recommend hearing aids during your first appointment. However, we won’t pressure you to make a purchase if you’re not ready.
