Hearing aids have advanced immensely over recent years. We are excited to continue learning about hearing aid technology and how new devices can help our patients. We stay up-to-date on the latest technology so we can better help our patients and fit them with the right hearing aids. Our owner and hearing instrument specialist, Lindsey, is an expert on choosing, fitting, and programming hearing aids. She is also knowledgeable about the different hearing aid manufacturers so she can better help you.
Genesis Hearing Center is a private practice, which means we have the ability to work with any of the leading hearing aid manufacturers. When needed, we can order hearing aids from any manufacturer, depending on the needs of our patients. Although we work with any of the leading manufacturers, we particularly enjoy working with Widex because of their advanced features, new software, and innovative products.
Widex offers some of the most technologically advanced hearing aids on the market. Our hearing instrument specialist is knowledgeable in Widex’s products because she has been working with them for years. Even though we trust Widex and have success fitting our patients with their hearing aids, we can work with other manufacturers as well. It’s all dependent on your hearing and needs.
One of the most important factors when choosing the right pair of hearing aids is lifestyle. Depending on your lifestyle, how active you are, and what type of listening environments you’re in the most, we will make a recommendation on the best type of hearing aids for your hearing needs. We understand budget may be a concern for our patients, however we encourage patients to look at all the levels of technology hearing aids have to offer before making a decision. With more advanced technology comes better sound quality and clarity. We work with our patients to find a solution that works for them, and we always try our best to offer affordable hearing aids. When making a recommendation on a hearing aid we will consider what types of environments you are in regularly, if you work in a high paced office with a lot of noise around then you may need a more powerful, higher end hearing aid. However, if you stay at home and live a more sedentary lifestyle, you may not need something as quite advanced. Our goal is to help you make a decision on what type of hearing aid will be best for you.
Hearing aids can be an investment, so you want to be sure you have chosen the best pair for your lifestyle and hearing needs. We offer demo units of hearing aids so you can try them on and see how they feel inside your ears. This will also give you the opportunity to experience how they work and help you hear. Because our office isn’t particularly noisy, we allow you to take your hearing aids home with you to try them out. By wearing them in the environments you are most comfortable in and spend your time in, then you can experience how they will perform for you. At Genesis Hearing Center, we want you to experience better hearing and we will help you along every step of the way.
